Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six pieces of information are all you need: gender, date of birth, self-described health status, tobacco use, how much coverage you want, and how long a term. Your name, address and health specifics are only asked if you opt to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They represent what the carriers quoted for your chosen health tier. The carrier conducting underwriting sets the actual rate, which could confirm, upgrade or downgrade your class. These quotations are for reference and are not insurance guarantees or premium assurances.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, and the system creates the application from the quote you selected. Processing continues in the carriers' protected application environment. Stop and come back anytime; you sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California operator (License 0B75129), administers your application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the insurer, the amount you want, and your health information. Many insurers feature quick-decision pathways that approve qualified applicants right away. Each quote shows whether a medical exam is typical, possible, or unnecessary for that plan.
Is a longer term better?
A term should protect the span when someone depending on your income would suffer if you died: a mortgage balance, dependent children, student loans. Longer terms lock your rate for more years but increase the monthly cost. The quote tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years.
